Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, ruler of Ajman, on Wednesday viewed designs for the development of the Martyrs Square project and expansion of Al Jerf Park to include a Martyrs’ Memorial.
These projects will be constructed in tribute to martyred servicemen who answered the call of duty, news agency WAM reported.
Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, also viewed the plans at his office.
Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, chairman of Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, said the projects will be implemented “on par with the best international standards for quality and innovation”.
He said the Martyrs’ Memorial will be one of the signature landmarks in the emirate of Ajman, adding that the design will be “unparalleled and will reflect the value of the martyrs”.
